You install it, and the worn core goes back to us for rebuilding and return to the pool.

What remanufacturing involves
A remanufactured component is not a cleaned-up used part. Wear surfaces are re-machined back to specification, bearings, seals and bushings are replaced, alignment is set, and the assembly is tested before it goes on the shelf. For an aggregate that means turret bearings, roller shaft alignment and gripper synchronisation. For a glue pot it means the heating element, thermostat and sealing surfaces as well as the body itself.
When exchange makes sense — and when it does not
Exchange is the right call when downtime is expensive and the component is one we hold in the pool. It is less useful for a part that is genuinely rare, or when your core is too far gone to be worth rebuilding — in which case we will say so rather than take the core and leave you short.
